![]() ![]() Time capsules are a fun and nice idea, nothing more, nothing less. ![]() And if you really dont like that somebody give you a mk3 module, throw it away, nobody forces you to keep it, but again, by the time you need it, you can craft it yourselfe. What and when you do things are completly your own choice. Subnautica isnt a linear game were you should start with a pistol and somebody give you a nukelear missile. Lets be honest here, yes the capsules are helpfull, but they dont "break" the balance in any way. And even if you reach it, you cant get inside without the tablet :P. Well you can try, but you most likely get killed on the way because you cant defend yourselfe at that point. It`s not that you get mk3, stuff it into your cyclops and drive directly to the last Alien Base. By the time you "need to go deeper" you can craft your mk3 by yourselfe. Same for the depth modules, yes, you can get everywere with mk3, but that isnt really helpfull at all in the beginning. Only by installing this mod will Subnautica players be able to enjoy a co-op. It is really funky how it takes a little while for the graphics to generate around you though, because you. Then go in there and you can 'TELEPORT' to a list of set locations. This will add a 'DEVELOPER' menu item to the pause menu. Sure your seaglide dont need so much recharge, but that doesent mean you dont need the recharge them at all. The only way to access multiplayer in the game is by installing the fan-made mod. The only way I have found that it works on XBox One is to go to the PAUSE menu, hit the LB & RB at the same time. It is not that they break the game in any way. I dont really need them, you can easyly live without them. ![]() I can understand why ppl dont want ion cells in the beginning, but why? By the time you get them the game is in the last part. Honestly like Azrahan said, they are not everywhere and can easyly overlooked. I really dont see why this is such a big thing. Personally I don't mind them but I understand why some players don't like them and how they might alter the game for first time players. I wrote this because I see a lot of threads bemoaning the Time Capsules. But on my second or third play through hell yeah I'd like that. I don't think I would have liked to find 6 Ion Cells within my first few hours with the game. Personally I like Time Capsules but they weren't available when I first started my first play through and by the time the game launched I was 3/4 of the way through the main story. And it's much easier than some convoluted "you can only put X type of items in a Time Capsule". Sort of a like a "New Game+" mode.īoth of these are fairly simple solutions with the first one leaving it up to players to decide whether or not they want them in their games. This gives me a running series of backstops, or I. When I reach a hard savepoint (i.e., multiple saves in a session but reaching a point of backstop) I drop the saveslot directory into a zip file that I label sequentially. Only allow Time Capsules to appear on a subsequent play through after the player has completed the story at least once in any mode. Subnatutica doesn't do sequential saves, it overwrites the savegame slot, so if your save is bugged grab a box of tissues. Check the "Enable Time Capsules" box when you start a new game and Time Capsules will appear in your game. Give players the ability to enable or disable them when they start a new game. ![]()
